Holiday Inn – Miami, FL

• The Holiday Inn located on Florida’s east coast consists of 18 stories of guestrooms with a roof top pool deck.  The structure is framed with RCC beams and a post-tensioned floor system.  The HVAC system was designed using energy efficient chillers which recycle heat generated by chillers and re-use it in preheating water for use throughout the hotel.  Base4 staff also completed a wind tunnel test in partnership with Tongji University in Shanghai.
