Base4 proudly announces the opening of our newest office in Tbilisi, Georgia.
This past week, Dr. Garry Vermaas (CEO) and Dr. Jodi Vermaas (Director of Leadership Development) visited Tbilisi to coordinate architectural and engineering development in this dynamic business hub of Eurasia. Highlights of the trip include the establishment of the new office and installment of Base4 Tbilisi directors/architects, Shota Saganelidze and Konstantine Giorgadze. Along with the directors, Garry and Jodi met with the Director of the Georgian National Investment Agency (GNIA), Giorgi Pertaia, and GNIA leaders of investment and research, Kristine Meparishivili and Bachana Shengelia.
With the help of these GNIA leaders, Base4 presented about Base4 activities and future projects at three universities and to various governmental agencies, including the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. A highlight of the trip was meeting with 50 graduating architects and professors from Tbilisi State Academy of the Arts, Ilia State University, and Georgian Technical University where Base4 discussed future projects and architectural/engineering production initiatives.
We look forward to seeing the progress of the Base4 office in Tbilisi.
