Marriott International has ventured into the U.S. midscale segment for the first time by introducing its newly launched extended stay brand: StudioRes.
Hyatt recently initiated construction on its first-ever upper midscale hotel: Hyatt Studios.
Hilton is also making strides in the middle-tier extended stay market as it expands its LivSmart brand in the lower midscale segment.
